You have to install the LAA mod to use the remaster mod. game has been stable (with the Quinn and other bug-squashing mods installed) and the graphics are more than just a little bit better. I applied it during Awakening, played through Amgarrak and Witch Hunt, currently playing the base game, in the deep roads about to confront Bronka. I'm pretty impressed with the 'all in one' unofficial remaster, version 1.2 is out, correcting some bugs before I had a chance to encounter them in-game. the only bug I've encountered so far is the Grey Warden armor on Sten makes him invisible.

So far, other than the occasional issue having to load a previous save on boot, then return to latest save that crashes upon boot, but works fine after (which I had before). skipping all the other visual improvement mods. The only mod, other than some QOL fixes for the UI/text size, is the new 'remaster' mod. I have Quinn's mod, plus a bunch of other bug fixes. I'm stuck in there with the constantly chanting brothers and the sad refugees. That is until now, where I can load all my previous saves (with the above method) and run about, but I can't now leave the Lothering Chantry without it crashing. Just this continuing thing with loading saves. Zoning was fine, running around was fine, no random crashes. At that point I started getting CTD if I tried to load a save, until I discovered I could load an earlier save (or strangely, an autosave) and then load my latest save, which would then work. The game was playing beautifully until I hit Ostagar and logged out. I've been using DAO ModManager for installing dazips and the override file for the Weapon Replacer. Zeveran ASAP - but the loose files not the dazip as per Quinn's instructions Sten of the Beresaad - with the Qunari update Improved Atmosphere (with latest applied fix pack - thanks to you pointing out in another thread) So, I've been playing with this mod list since the start of my play through:-ĭragon Age Redesigned (npcs only no companions) I've been noticing how kind and helpful you are with people and it's very much appreciated!
